QuantumSoft CEO Arrested in ₹1.53 Crore Fraud Case

A massive recruitment scam has shaken Pune’s IT sector, with police arresting QuantumSoft Technologies CEO Nikhileshwar Kshirsagar in a ₹1.53 crore fraud case targeting young IT freshers and job seek
The Forum for IT Employees (FITE) exposed the fraud after receiving multiple complaints. The scammers lured candidates with promises of secure employment at reputed firms. Candidates were asked to pay between ₹1.5 lakh to ₹3 lakh through consultants and company representatives.
After payment, offer letters were issued — but once candidates joined, serious irregularities emerged:
Salaries were withheld for 3 to 6 months
PF accounts were opened but no deposits were made
Employees never received ID cards, insurance papers, or official documents
