UP Dairy Conclave 2026 Expands Infrastructure in 75 Districts

The Dairy Development Department announced that the state-level conclave will establish a unified digital monitoring network connecting primary dairy cooperative societies across rural Uttar Pradesh.

Officials confirmed that the expansion plan focuses on reducing milk spillage, improving quality testing standards, and ensuring direct bank account transfers for dairy farmers within 24 hours of collection.

Cooperative Processing and Automated Milk Chilling Units

Under the approved roadmap, village-level dairy units will receive automated bulk milk coolers and digital fat-testing analyzers to ensure fair pricing for milk producers.

The initiative aligns with the state’s broader target of scaling processed milk output to 250 lakh litres daily through public-private partnership models.

Financial Support for Small Dairy Farmers and Self-Help Groups

To promote rural employment, the government introduced subsidized credit loans for women self-help groups establishing micro-dairy units.
