A Bengali national lost his life after debris from an intercepted drone came down on a farm in the Al-Rifa’a area of Fujairah, UAE authorities confirmed on Wednesday.
The Fujairah Government Media Office stated that UAE air defence systems successfully shot down an unmanned aerial vehicle over the emirate. Following the interception, the falling debris struck a farm in Al-Rifa’a, resulting in the death of the victim.
Officials urged the public to rely only on official channels for information, warning that rumours and unverified reports could cause unnecessary panic among residents.
Emergency teams and authorities remain deployed at the site, continuing to monitor the situation and ensure safety in the surrounding area
