India imports 88% of its crude oil, 60% of its LPG, and 50% of its natural gas from abroad, with 85–95% of LPG and 30% of natural gas passing through the Strait of Hormuz. The disruption has raised serious concerns about fuel pricing and availability for households and industry. On the domestic front, the Khelo India Tribal Games 2026 kick off today in Chhattisgarh, running until April 3 across Raipur, Jagdalpur, and Surguja, with over 6,000 participants expected including 2,300 athletes competing across disciplines like Archery, Hockey, Wrestling, and Kabaddi.
