US Ambassador to India Sergio Gor has stated that President Donald Trump places great importance on strengthening ties between the United States and India.
Gor made these remarks on Tuesday following a meeting with Trump at the White House. Taking to X, he wrote that his first stop upon returning to the US was a meeting with the President, adding that Trump genuinely values the bond between the two nations.
The ambassador also shared a photo from the Oval Office, where he was seen alongside Trump and Secretary of State Marco Rubio.
Gor took charge as US Ambassador to India in January this year. Prior to this role, he served as Director of the White House Presidential Personnel Office.
